I found a friend today.
On the day I lost someone dear to me.
I reached out for comfort,
And heard her voice warm and soothing,
A stranger to me,
But not to my suffering.
My friend spoke of my brother
With warmth and love,

Always making others laugh.
My friend suffers too,
But puts her grief aside,
Struggling for strength to help others,
And ignoring her own pain.
I hope she'll find comfort in knowing,
Today, she found a friend too.

How to be
