Creating Christmas crafts to decorate your home allows you to express your creativity and gives your home a unique touch. Get started today and decorate your home with inexpensive and easy Christmas crafts that anyone can make. Here are nine ideas to get you started.

*Window Pane Christmas Spider

On a sheet of waxed paper, trace the corner of you windowpane. Using clear drying glue, draw a spider web on the waxed paper in the corner you have drawn. Sprinkle well with silver glitter and allow to dry for twenty-four hours. Gently remove from the waxed paper and apply to the window, in the corner. It will be self-sticking and can be easily peeled off and stored.

Draw a small spider on waxed paper with clear drying glue and sprinkle with black glitter. When this has dried, draw a big bow on the spider and sprinkle with red glitter. When completely dry, place the spider near the web on the window.

*Candy Cane Sleigh Place Markers

Hot glue four paper wrapped candy canes side by side. Next, hot glue a small doll or stuffed animal in the seated position on the sleigh. Add a few sprigs of greenery with some red berries. Brush on a little clear drying glue and add some fake snow highlights. Stick the place marker between two of the candy canes in the front of the sleigh.

*Victorian Tulle Potpourri

Cut an eight-inch circle of fine tulle. Sew half-inch lace around the cut edge. One-inch from the edge, sew with a heavy yarn a simple in and out stitch to use in gathering the tulle into a pouch. Add the potpourri and pull the drawstring until the pouch closes. Tie it tightly. Tie a ribbon around the gathered neck of the pouch and tie into a bow. Fluff out the lace ruffles, add a hanger and place on the tree.

*Glitter Ornaments

Using a plastic lid, from a Pringles can or a to-go-cup as your mold, sprinkle enough glitter to cover the lid. Squeeze clear drying glue over the glitter. Allow to dry for 24-hours and peel the ornament from the lid. Punch a hole near the edge and thread a ribbon through for a hanger.

*Felt Ornaments

Cut out two matching shapes such as a Christmas tree, star or gingerbread man. Stitching close to the edge, stitch the two together leaving a space to add stuffing. Add polyfil and stitch closed. Decorate with contrasting embroider floss and sewn on sequins, beads, buttons and rickrack. You can also glue on other items such as small felt shapes cut from other colors, for decorations. Create a hanger with ribbon by sewing it through the top.
