In Memory of an Endless Sea
Your side, by each night you come to sleep, waiting to reach my arms,
And all your troubles set free, to the comfort of my love,
In the depth of our surrounding, your love is deep,
With a gentle kiss, our eyes do close,
In this memory, it must be a dream,
For I can't remember the last time, a girl carved my spirit to believe,
Believe that balance is equally important to the passion,
This race of desire sets pace to compromise with reality,
Intuitively, we connect, we share the dream of happiness,
And through the sand scathing through the hourglass telling us time is running,
We gaze into eachothers parched eyes, wanting to quench our dryness,
Knowing we thirst for eachother, knowing the oasis of beauty exists, and we are still,
Still to the fast paced world pushing its opinions of shoulds and could of's down our vulnerable choices,
And though our love comes easy,
It brings a case of rocks we must carry to the mountain of unforgiving pain,
Each rock released along the way a symbol, a marker, a milestone,
Becomes a burial for an old emotion, creating space for the new beginning,
Standing at the top of our mountain comes the strength,
Looking down at a path paved by personal growth, by being truthful, by living from the heart,
In this memory, it must be a dream,
For I can't remember the last time, a girl and I have traveled this journey together,
The surface has only been broken,
Our lips have only met their destiny three times,
As a dreamer casting stones into an endless sea, I will keep casting my thought and feelings to her,
As long as like the sea, I can see the rippling affects affecting her in a positive way,
And maybe one day just like the beauty of an endless sea,
Her and I will be endless together.

What is it about this place,
That casts a shadow upon my face?
My world comes crashing down,

Consumed in this is love
