Special Sunrise
I woke up this morning in my own bed
The same place I woke up before
But something was special about today
I have never noticed
As I opened up the door
The birds were singing in the trees
The air was nice and sweet
With the smell of flowers in the air
The traffic even had a special beat
The neighbor's yelling "hi" to me
Was such a welcome sound
I answered back , went out the door
To enjoy the sun while lying down
To my surprise It felt so good
It took me breath away
I stayed and enjoyed the wonder
of a special no-work day

Orange sunrise
Tears falling down my face
For the beauty and the memory
