Should the Christian church teach that homosexuality is wrong

a closer look at the facts, we can clearly see why the Bible's teachings still hold true today. As the Lord proclaims in Malachi 3:6a, "I the Lord do not change."
From the passage listed from Leviticus until the passage listed from Paul's letter to the Corinthians passed roughly 1500 years. That means that over 1500 years the Biblical teachings concerning homosexuality were the exact same. If we choose we can look back 500 years further to the Lord's condemnation and destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, cities rampant in the practice of homosexuality. Add to that Jesus' condemnation of the practices of the Nicolaitans (another group practicing homosexuality) in the book of Revelation, and we have the practice of homosexuality condemned for over 2000 years, from the first book of the Bible until the last. If we then consider that the Bible in its entirety never once excuses homosexuality as a sin, we can assume that for the entirety of the over-5000 years of history it possesses homosexuality was condemned by God. Knowing this, who is anyone to simply assume that in the nearly 2000 years since the final book of the Bible was written God has changed His mind on the subject? The excuse many use is that Jesus changed the Hebrew law when he conducted his ministry, yet how then can they explain his direct condemnation of the Nicolaitans and all sexual immorality? As Jesus said in Matthew 5:17, "Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them."

Overall, there are at least ten references to homosexuality in the Bible throughout, both directly or indirectly, all of them negative. While this is a relatively low number of references in comparison with other issues, it was not believed to need much explaining because there is no gray area in the matter. Believers back then knew that it was a sexually immoral act and was condemned by God. They did not need further explanation. If we lump in homosexuality with the more general references to "sexual immorality", the number goes from 10 to over 40. Once again, this was a clear-cut subject with the people of the time, and further explanation was not needed. Therefore it is important we treat it the same way today. Homosexuality is and always has been a sin, and no matter what the opinion of society has become over the past centuries, God has not changed in His distinction.
With that being said, it is very important to note that those with homosexual tendencies
