When she and I were talking. We'd talk for hours about anything whichever comes to our mind. After a while, she brought up the subject on how she had gotten an interesting question from her friend; "If you ever become a writer; Which would you prefer to focus on: Poetry or Story?" Then, she was telling me how stunned she was for being questioned like that. It was a real challenging question she ever faced. We stayed and have been talking about that subject for a while. After the moment, she and I had gotten into the ideals about where the poetry come from. We were talking long and serious about it and have been listening to each others' opinions and thoughts. Hours later, when we were done chatting and went on our ways, I've been thinking long and hard about our conversation on that topic. Then the thoughts about our conversation on where do the poetry comes from suddenly just hit me...

Poetry were created in depend on what they were based on. There are many things that poetry can be based on; The thoughts; The ideals; The moods; The feelings; The inspirations; And all of those things like that which effect us in any ways. We all write to pour out both of the imaginations and the emotions into one simple piece of paper. If you were thinking on how to write out the expressions, you're using your mind. If you were using your feelings to express the words, you're using your heart. If you are using both heart and mind, you're creating the fantasy that is somewhat based on your emotions...

To tell you the truth; I believe that the poetry come from both of the hearts and the minds. I mean, I've been writing poetry on and off for several years now. In the beginning; When I first started writing the poetry, I've been using my mind to create them, all just for the entertainments. Also, just to make myself proud of what I've written. After all of those time I've been using my mind and my imaginations to create the illusions, I decided to start using my heart to express my emotions to blend in with the short stories. That's when I started to use my heart to write a few years ago. That was until I went back to read my old writings and asked myself this; What were you thinking? I sure can read the old ones that were based on my mind, yet I don't feel any of them at all. But, when I was reading the old ones that were based from my heart, somehow I still feel them loud and almost clear. That's when I've decided to use not just my mind, but both of my heart and my mind to create
