More and more people are spicing up their weddings with Goth and costume themes. This can be a fun way to get your guests involved in something truly memorable. Whether you have a Frankenstein theme, are going as a corpse, or just plain want to celebrate the Goth inside of you, it is important to know the specifics of your make-up requirements.
No matter your individual theme, there are a few guidelines which apply to everyone. First, always, at all costs, avoid using black lipstick. Although it may look great every other day, the contrast it creates against your teeth in wedding photos will be shocking. Instead, opt for deep, rich reds and burgundies. Two: If drastically white is more your style, purchase some gothic white foundation. This color is too harsh by itself, so try mixing it with some of your normal foundation. Add it in little by little until you have the shade you want, and then brush it on lightly and evenly. Do not forget to do your neck, chest, and any other part of you that may need it. Nobody wants to see a half-tan half-pale bride!
For eye shadow, the sky really is the limit. Depending on your personal style, there are only a few extra tips for maintaining the gothic look. Pencil or liquid eyeliner is your prerogative, though I suggest the liquid because it dries quickly and lasts longer. If you choose to pencil the bottom of your eye, make sure that it is very thin. If the bottom is too thick, your
