I try to catch her, I try and try.
And yet it seems I cannot fly.
My wings pinned down, the strings attached.
I tug for freedom but their strength is unmatched.
All I want is to be set free,
To live life the way I want it to be.
I'm at the edge about to fly
Then throttled by the string that keeps them close by.
In the distance,
I can still see,
Her flying,
Into,
Eternity.

Little Sister
She is the younger me
The lively one of the pack
The fun one I used to be
She is the attention getter

Karen and Jo, one August born and the other, a September birth
One grows up wanting to be heard, 'I want to do things my

A mysterious thing
but not a guarantee
is a sister's love
when it's grown from seed
A wondrous beginning
