Getting rid of white spots on the face

Blotches, whether they are white patches or darker areas on the skin, can be due to hormones, dryness, or poor habits like popping pimples. There are many compounds that you can find at online pharmacies that may or may not help. Online pharmacies that carry prescription strength face creams are usually selling compounds for hair removal or control. Unwanted hair might be another issue to address, but online pharmacies might not be as safe as talking to your doctor first when dealing with prescription medications.

During winter months and for special occasions these are usually covered by your make up base, but during the summer, around the house, or casual functions wearing make up might not be appropriate. When camouflaging minor skin flaws that show up as white patches, it helps to pin down their cause.

Usually, white patches on the face usually appear outside of the 'T zone", or the area on the face that is usually the oiliest. Being aware of this can help you modify your cleansing routine to avoid drying these areas out.

When using a cleanser that treats oily skin, avoid the cheek area. Use a product that is formulated for dry skin during the cleansing phase. Avoid products labeled as astringents or that have alcohol in them, and switch to something more natural like Witch Hazel as a freshener to help balance your dry and oily areas.

When applying your face cremes just before adding make up, be sure to use a moisturizing creme on the cheek area, and put just a little extra on the white patches. Use a creme meant for oily skin in the "T zone".

A good alternative to using the commercial items that tend to sit on top of the skin, are natural oils in with different consistencies. These are absorbed into the skin so that their benefit can penetrate to the deeper layers, carrying vitamins and minerals that may help correct the blotches and white patches with nourishment.

Jojoba is the closest to the natural oils the skin produces and probably the best thing for white patches. Grape seed oil has a lighter consistency and is good for mature skin, which tends to be a bit drier.

Remember to steam the face once or twice a week for deep cleansing and add vitamin e to your diet to help balance nutrients needed for the even skin tone you desire.
