The soft piano music fills the air
As I run my hands through your reddish-brown hair
I think of the nights we have spent alone
Of how much closer our lives have grown
It's only right that we be together
I will be by your side until forever
Your sweet voice speaks straight to my heart
I won't let anything tear us apart.
We lie here hand-in-hand tonight
As we watch the sun fade out of sight
We sit in silence
No words are needed here
As the sun fades
Soon to disappear
I look to your eyes
Which always draw me in
And I try to recall
When did this all begin?
But that thought soon escapes from me
For I have you now
And it is meant to be.
