Is he really being a shy guy or is he simply not interested? Sometime the line between these two individuals can be somewhat gray. Here are some tell tale signs of which one you are dealing with.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

The "Shy guy", is the one who normally in a crowd is very comfortable just blending in. He may look at you often and even speak to you in a very general way. However once you corner him or get him alone he suddenly becomes very quite and docile. It is hard to pin him down to a decision. His favorite statement is, "whatever you want." The "Shy guy" very rarely makes lasting eye contact, he is normally trying to sneak a look at you. Although the "Shy guy" will answer you calls, trade emails and text messages with you all day long. When he is invited to social functions, the "Shy guy" normally will try to excuse himself when first asked and can normally with some consistant pressure be convinced to go. The "Shy guy" simply does not want to embarrass himself or the object of his affection namely you. This should not be confused with being ignored.

This leads us to the not interest man. He is normally very easy to spot. He will normally find anything and everything else to do. He is the type that when you offer him dinner at your house, he suddenly remembers that he has to go and help the pastor build a new sanctuary. Even though his rejections of your advances may be soft in tone that are almost always very sharp in delivery. When he is not interested he will find the most awkward and strange excuses to get out of whatever he is committed to doing with you. If he tells you he is doing nothing and suddenly he has to stay home and vacuum the house, finish dusting and mop the kitchen floor, he is basically telling you he would rather die that be with you. When he is not interested the little text messages go unreturned, you will find yourself have deep conversations with the voicemail.

You see the signs are not really hard to see, it is simply whether or not we choose to read them. Lastly there is an alarm that should go off in you head that once to realize that thing are not what you want them to be, Move on because there will be a "Shy Guy" waiting to love you right.
