Also known as the Velvet Elvis, this sandwich was a favorite of Mr. Presley's. He clearly had good taste in both music and food. The Elvis Sandwich calls for few ingredients, cooks quickly, and it's even kid-friendly.
You'll need:
* Bread
* Butter
* Peanut Butter
* 1 Banana
* Paper Towels
* Frying Pan
* Spatula
1. Turn the burner to medium-low and melt 2 tbsp. butter in the frying pan.
2. Get two slices of bread, and butter one side of each. Place both butter-side down on a paper towel. The butter should be on the outside of the sandwich.
3. Spread peanut butter on one slice of bread, and lay banana slices (or mashed banana) on the other. Squish them together and set the sandwich on the frying pan.
4. Let the sandwich fry for about 5 minutes, then flip it over. Check the color every 30 seconds or so; it's cooked when both sides are golden-brown.
*Add honey and cooked bacon to the Elvis sandwich for extra flavor.
