Don't waste your time trying to guess if he is a shy guy, or just not interested. His body language tells you a lot more than his words do. Become an expert at reading even those hard to read guys.

All single women know that it is a jungle out there. Learn to read his body language, save yourself time, and energy. Subtle moves he makes will mean the difference between him being a shy guy, or just not interested.

Guy body language every woman must know:

Preening means that he wants to look good while he is around you. Watch for shirt straightening and tie fixing, both are good signs, your impression of him is important. Acting borish and being poorly dressed, probably means he is not interested, or just doesn't care.

If a guy is feeling uncomfortable or shy he might be fidgety. You may see lots of big arm movements, and finger tapping. If he wants to get away from you, his body will be turned away from you, and towards the nearest exit route.

Smiling is a good sign. Look to see if he is responding to you. Subtle crooked smiles count, they probably mean that he is feeling a little shy, and should turn into great big, I'm into you smiles in no time at all.

Lingering eye contact is a big sign of a guys interest in you. It is normal for fleeting eye contact when two people first meet. Look for those fleeting moments of eye contact to turn into lingering eye gazing.

Touching is good. Reach out and brush his arm gently. If he is interested, he will soon be reaching out to you and patting your hand, or gently moving a piece of your hair that has come loose.

Lower your voice and see if he leans in to catch your every word. Space invading is a good sign that he is interested. If he stays aloof, and seems to not care, he is not for you.

Crossed arms are tricky, they could mean that he is either uncomfortable or not interested. Approach, strike-up a conversation, see if the arms unfold. If the arms stay folded, he is not into you, don't waste your time.

Read his body language cues and know if he is a shy guy, or if he's just not really into you. A guy's body language tells you everything you need to know. Give those shy guys a chance to win you over and don't waste time on a guy that is just not interested.
