Whisperings
Through the common crowds you navigate, rapt in the intensity
A familiar speck amongst the magnitude crowd
Striving, pursuing a life to no avail; a mere competitor of time
It moves steadily: stealthily it consumes and envelops you
Can you hear the whisperings?
A reflected image unravels your futile life
Nothing has been spared to gratify your desire for success
An emotional unravelling perplexes and feeds your frustrations
Unhurriedly you peel away each masked, protected layer
There are whisperings
Sifting through alien faces
You fail to attach; you claw
Nothing stirs you now; you're feeling raw, unsure
Your darkened thoughts consumed become fused
Is that a blushing glow you see upon the fringe?
Whisperings, stirring whisperings
Consciousness is shaken; you stumble but do not descend
The turmoil is suspended; you revel upon your unearthing
Your vision is transported beyond the outskirts
You resign, no longer struggle and steadily succumb
Whisperings winds have blown in

no Shakespeare -
no nobody -
about watching the girl with the tiny hearts
