How to tell if an International Business Proposal is For Real
Submitting your application on line has become a very scary thing to do. Searching eyes from all over the world are getting your personal information by tapping into the on line employment and business opportunity industry. You really have to be careful who you submit your application to. The so-called trusted sites for employment are becoming targets for fake international business proposals and job offers. Transferring money or delivery of money to personal bank accounts in America is a scam that is seen more often now than ever. A promise to receive a portion of the money to be delivered or transferred is always included in the deal. Apparently these scams are working because they keep showing up in emails. In the beginning they were very repetitive and easy to pick out of a crowd. These international crooks are becoming more educated, skillful and more convincing.
Some Sure Signs of Counterfeit Opportunities
An email with all capital letters, and usualy say "hiring now", or a similar statement in the subject box, is a sure sign of a bogus offer for a job or business opportunity. Dedicated surfers of the Internet and those who frequently check their email, will quickly discover who the international crooks are. International scammers soliciting job positions or business opportunities will most likely relay information in all caps, misspelled words, and improper grammar. Most of these offers lack the professional effect.
Most of these offers are from Foreign Countries
Most of these scammers will not have a legitimate business name or address, no real point of contact (working phone number), and the title of the writer is usually unclear. Some of the titles are bogus and unheard of. In most cases, if you take the time to read the email, you can immediately detect the unprofessional foreign dialect (wrong word choice), the misspelled words and the improper punctuation and grammar. Some of these offers come out of Nigeria, Russia, and the more convincing offers come out of the United Kingdom. These are just a few places you may receive these offers from.
Take Time to Research
No matter how desperate you may be for a job or a business opportunity, don't be too hasty or quick to start clicking your way into a web of deception. If you're unsure about an organization or a proposal, you can check it out just as quickly as you found it. All you have to do is use your favorite search engine to research the actual information that was provided in the email. Often time it's a good idea to type a sentence asking about the truth of a particular business practice or a specific company. Check out who they are, what they represent, where they are located. Taking that time out to become more informed or educated on a business or a practice will allow you to have the opportunity to gain legitimate employment or a legitimate business opportunity.
