I always thought myself as a religious person, a Catholic, born and raised in the faith and have continued that tradition with my children. One of which has been just recently confirmed in the church.

It wasn't unitl my life was on the verge of despair That I really prayed for help for what plan God has for me and to save me in my soul, and my physical life. At that moment, my life as it was, rushing through me like a slow motion dream, said to wait and pray. Also to realize what was happening to me was something I could do something about. Suddenly, the next day I started to confide in someone. Before I knew it, I was making an over due call for confidential help from a counselor. I started making my way down a long path in my journey for freedom to be myself again.

When I am at my most weakest moment, someone who I don't even know will start talking to me, and I find out about their life experience with their relationship with their spouse, and sometimes with God, and it gives me renewed Hope to go on. Each step of the way I am finding people who have helped me, even only just to listen.

These are my messengers of God, my angels sent down to help me on my way. One was my very own daughter, as they say, "out of the mouths of babes you find wisdom" She helped me to realize things weren't right and I had to stand up for myself and take my life back even though it has taken, or should I say is taking a very long time. I am worth it, I am a person, not just a mother , a wife, a daughter and deserve just as much respect as anyone else.

I had written a poem for the counselors where I went, and ended it with "Just an `ole red brick building, with Angels inside" There are angels, which I call messengers of God to help you on your way or to see your through a very difficult time in your life and sometimes to spread good news. Like, try one more time and you will conceive a child, or give it time but don't stop fighting for what you know in your heart is right from wrong. We all know deep down, we all need that Grace from God to see us through.

For without the angels walking among us, we can be led astray, down a lonely path of self destruction. God knows who we are even before we are born, we know who we are but we have to keep striving for our goal of self fulfillment in Him. The pathway of Light.

I pray the angels will come to you in time of need and in time of joy.
