Even though Max Payne is an old game, it is a good game. This game was one that had got a really good storyline involved. For those days the graphics that were used in this game was good and the gameplay was excellent. In each level you'll have to kill every single bad guy and clear up the entire place.

There is no mercy, you'll be finishing off every single thug who comes in your way. What Max Payne is looking for, is the murderers of his wife and his little daughter. Max Payne is a detective but when he starts going behind the bad guys, the cops who are supposed to back him up are actually on to him as he is the prime suspect. So, in this game you're alone. You're like the bad guy and the good guy as well. No backup from the cops but, still a really cool game.

Everybody must have played the game Max Payne. But I have played this game a long time ago. Yet, I like this game a lot. Even "Max Payne 2" was a good game. But recently, while I was watching T.V, I saw a commercial of a Max Payne film! I was shocked as I had no idea , there was going to be a movie made on "Max Payne". Well, from what I saw of that commercial, I don't think the story is the same as the one used for the game. The actor is Mark Wahlberg.

He is actually the cop who kills Matt Damon (who is the bad guy) in the movie, "The Departed". That movie was awesome and if you didn't watch it, I'd say it is a must see movie. Well, Sticking to the subject, it's a pretty cool thing to have a movie made on this game as there are many movies based on games, that were a smashing hit on the charts. For example, "Doom", which stars actor Dwayne Johnson (A.K.A The Rock) as the anti-hero and actor Karl Urban as the hero. It's based on the game "Doom 3" which did so well in the gaming industry. That's why I guess most probably this movie on "Max Payne" will hopefully do well.

Now, speaking of Max Payne 2 (The Game). It's got a nice storyline too. This time Max Payne falls in love with a woman called Mona Sax. And it's fate. That's why the game got a secondary title called, "The Fall Of Max Payne". Again here also the graphics are good and the gameplay has been improved from the previous game. There is something called "Bullet Time", which is a really cool thing. It slows down everything and shows Max Payne in a stylish way who is able to dodge the bullets as the player can move him away from them. It's a cool idea to have put this in the game and I think that's why both Max Payne and Max Payne 2 did well.

Both of them had this "Bullet Time"feature. As for the storyline, I found that Max Payne 2 (The Fall Of Max Payne) had a better storyline when compared to Max Payne. In Max Payne 2, the player is forced to get glued to the game as there is a lot of suspense involved.

You are actually made to believe that Max Payne dies, atleast four, five times in the game. We are sure he's dead but actually he survives. It's very thrilling, you don't want to stop playing the game until you find out what happens in the end. It's like the feelings of restlessness Max Payne has, is transferred to the gamer too. You just want to find the villains and finish them off.

Well, Overall these two games (Max Payne and Max Payne 2) are awesome games and everybody who loves gaming must play these games at least once.
