~* BEAUTIFUL *~

The Estee Lauder pioneering cosmetic company was founded in 1935. The Estee Lauder brand specialises in quality make-up and perfumes designed to bring out the woman in us. 'Beautiful' is one their many gorgeous perfumes. The Estee Lauder brand really does have the most wonderful selection of fragrances. One of its early, huge successes in the perfume line way back in the 1960s was 'Youth Dew', which is still around and selling well today.

Their perfumes are quite diverse and their appeal is broad. Beautiful was first released for sale in 1985 and was an extremely popular addition to their ever expanding collection. It is now one of the top selling perfumes in the World. The perfume was created by perfumer Sophia Grojsman and its composition is made to convey that whoever wears the Beautiful perfume will feel the 'loveliest woman in any room'. The scent is rich and romantic and cloaks you in the fabulous fragrance which lasts and lasts. 

~* Beautiful Eau De Parfum Spray 75ml/2.5oz *~

Beautiful is a stunning fragrance and it comes to us in a curved, tall bottle which tapers at the neck. It sports a gold lid and across the front of the bottle it bears the signature perfume name of 'Beautiful' and beneath this the brand name of Estee Lauder written in white lettering. I absolutely adore this perfume and like the name, the perfume truly is 'Beautiful'. The bottle is quite simplistic in design yet still bears the feel and look of quality. If you go for the 100ml bottle, it comes in a lovely, square ridged glass, dressing table display bottle with an attractive glass lid and it is absolutely gorgeous. This will set you back £65.00, but this perfume does last really well so I feel that it's not too high a price to pay. Beautiful possesses a really sensual scent and one which oozes an air of confidence and calm. It has a lovely rose and jasmine fragrance with a rush of carnation and a zing of citrus. Beautiful is a sunny garden of mixed bloom; a head rush of flora in a mixed bouquet. The thing about Beautiful is that the blend is chaotic yet presents itself perfectly. It's very hard to pinpoint the various notes, but as far as I am concerned, the parts of the sum add up to a complete and perfect solution.

Marigold, Rose, Mandarin, Lily, and Tuberose.

~* The Middle Notes *~

Orange Flower, Muguet, Jasmine, and Ylang-Ylang.

~* The Base Notes *~

Sandalwood, and Vetiver.

~* SUMMARY *~

Beautiful is quite simply, just that! A fantastic cacophony of flora set off by musks of sandalwood and green vetiver. It really is a delight. This is a perfume that doesn't need over applying. Too much will smell overpowering. Spray lightly and not too often. Beautiful will hold and sustain its fragrance. It is suitable for wearing at any time really and whenever I wear it, it is always complimented on. It's a very sensual scent, so go easy. This is such a complex blend that it is very hard to pick out single notes from the perfume. Just enjoy it for what it is. An exciting, exhilarating, floral arrangement, which is set off by the tangy citrus and warmed by woods and spices; Beautiful; a truly stunning and lovely fragrance that will bring out the woman in you.
