My son, I'm always there
despite how far away I am.
I'll never abandon you.
I promise to protect you;
to keep the monsters away.
I'll forever remain true.
And as you grow older
please don't abandon me
or the lessons I've shared.
Keep to my teachings
and you will always find
that I will always be there.

yet I hold you in my heart.
Those feelings I won't betray.
No matter what nor where,
regardless of who or why
or especially how far away.
