When human beings grow greedy
And want to grab all that they can see
No thought of the poor man that yearns
With a hungry stomach that churns
When human beings don't help the poor
Those that toil and those that labor
All they do is to turn a blind eye
And never ask the reasons why

Divisions grow, distances widen
Minds get set, hearts begin to harden
When human beings stop to care
For those who are in despair
That's when angels cry in sorrow
For a world that has no tomorrow
