Her Heart
Her heart was a blank canvas begging for paint.
A diary with unmarked pages.
Warm and not ready for the world.
Still waiting for that first attraction.
Begging for pain and anguish.
Her heart became full too soon.
Overflowing with lust and wishes.
Bursting at the seams.
Full of hopes and dreams,
none yet fulfilled.
Her heart awaits it's true purpose.
Sitting at the junction.
Watching the eyes of men,
hoping to peer into their souls.
Her heart nested where she didn't expect.
So far away from home.
Out of her comfort zone.
Free from childish dreamings.
