with several keys sellotaped to the bottom, he pulled the one with "DOOR" written above it off the page and stepped out of the landy, Miikka was excited about this new place and he bounded after David and jumped out of the door, he yelped pathetically when instead of landing on hard ground he sank up to his belly into the snow. David smiled at this and went to his dog's aid, picking him from the snow and carrying him to that bright red door; he put Miikka down on the balcony in front of the door and opened it. As it came open a blast of warm air hit him and he couldn't help but grin, inside the cabin was a marvel, the kind of place your parents always told you that Santa lived in. Its walls were panelled with a light coloured wood, and much of them were adorned with various paintings, hangings and the occasional set of mounted antlers. The house was built around one big room that over looked the lake; there was a fireplace in the middle of the left hand wall which curiously was burning. To the right was a small hallway which was lined with coat hangers and lead to the door. Behind the main room was a kitchen with a big oil fired oven and a shower room next to that. Upstairs was a landing that overlooked the main room and huge lake-view window. There were 4 doors leading off the landing, 2 went to bedrooms, 1 to a bathroom and the last to what could become an office. He was so pleased with what he'd found that David couldn't help but laugh, Miikka joined in with a loud bark. A couple pf days later a letter appeared through the door of the farm, to their surprise it was postmarked from Finland. All that was written inside was:
Everything's gonna be ok
Love David
(and Miikka)
