I rid myself of tears
Wishing they were memories instead
Your intentions of disappointment
Have risen to the surface once more
And I can feel myself desperately sinking
Back to the bottom again
You always knew
How to put me in my place
Fall into vulnerability
And try to erase
Every single thing
Revolving around oblivion
And lies
Listen to the laughter
That covers up the aggravation
Eating me from the inside
Over and over again
Consumed by emptiness in heart and soul
Or lack thereof
Once again returning to this critical state
I want to return the pain
But it only makes me die
A little more inside
Every time I see your better half...
