I gettin' paid? Again, don't act like you have the job already. Second, never bring up salary unless the employer does first. If they ask you what you want to be paid, give them a range such as $40K-$50K/yr. Always tell them you're flexible.
2) Does this position offer telecommuting? This is a tough one. Though many jobs these days can be performed in a home office connected directly to corporate headquarters through a virtual private network (VPN) and other means, most companies continue to resist telecommuting. They want you onsite, even though telecommuting is a win-win for workers, companies, and the environment. Though you may be tempted, don't ask about telecommuting because it usually gives the employer the impression you're not a team player, and that you'd rather not spend any time in their home office.
3) Am I gettin' an office or a cube? Again, don't assume you have the job. And don't worry about your job setting; if you're lucky enough to land the job, you can deal with it then.
4) Those darn Republicans, they've wrecked our country! Never, and I mean NEVER, discuss politics during a job interview even if the interviewer shares your same political views. Tread very lightly here, speak only in very general (even vague terms), and steer the conversation away from politics.
The key to any interview is to be relaxed, yet professional. Ask questions related mostly to the job itself, smile often, and you'll impress your prospective employer enough to put you in their list of top candidates.
