Ode to Patience
Quickly, I move throughout my day;
I glance and chance; I make my way.
I listen not to inner voices.
Hasten quickly and make my choices.
Where art thou my peace of mind?
I twist and turn; I'm in a bind
Would it be hard to cast a care?
Soon, I find it was always there.

Another world flirts, awaits
Impossible as it may be
But long ago the soul decided it to be
Seeded
nothing is as it seems
an open secret desperately concealed
to avoid the judgement
of those with well intent
