Heroes is a nice TV show which has become really popular. Right now, season three is being shown in America but it's different from country to country. For Example, in Italy the show is still in the second season. Well, in Heroes there are normal people with extraordinary powers. What I mean by extraordinary is " super-strength, levitation, Rapid Cellular Regeneration, Telekinesis and many more." The villan of this TV series is a superpowered serial killer called Sylar. Sylar is the assumed name he takes up in season one, his actual name is Gabriel Gray. It starts off with Gabriel Gray who is a insignificant watchmaker's son. And he too is a watchmaker. But then Mohinder's father (the geneticist), Chander Suresh, calls him to check if he had any superpower. But then he says he does not have power and asks him to leave.
Then he finds out about other superhumans and that's where he starts his journey as a villan. He attains many abilities form different superhumans with different superpowers. He gets abilities like Telekinesis, Induced Radioactivity and so on. In order to get these abilities he kills the victim and removes the brain. Well, it's only in season three episode one where the audience finds out that he actually does not eat the brain but only looks at it finds out how it works. It seems he had that ability from the very beginning. He had some kind of intuitive aptitude. And this is what makes him understand the complex working of the powers of the "others" (Other Superhumans).
In season one there are already many different superhumans with so many different powers. The cheerleader Claire who finds out to be indestructible. She can heal herself from any injury or even cheat death. She actually does die in one of the episode of season one and she literally comes back. The story in Heroes is one that has a real twist. In season one and two Sylar is a very very dangerous serial killer, killing every other superhuman who has powers. In one of the episodes of season two, Sylar is seen in future, five years ahead and we see that he wants to kill every body else with a superpower and wants to become the ultimate superhuman. Bu then in season three we see that Sylar becomes Gabriel Gray again and starts controlling his hunger for power. This, he does for the sake of his son Noah. Many things happen but it would be much better watching these things because it gets really interesting. For example, the secret behind how Sylar actually gained other people's superpowers was only revealed in season three.
The geneticist Mohinder Suresh also creates a formula in season three and thus discovers a way to give powers to anyone. Maya, a young mexican woman who has a very deadly power is with Mohinder and had actually asked him to find a cure, but what happens is actually exactly the opposite. He finds a way to give power not take it away. He later decides to throw the formula away but ends up injecting himself and he also attains a very incredible superpower. He gets superstrength and some kind of spider-like webbings.
Anyway Heroes turns out to be a very followed TV show in the world and there are many people who do not want to miss any episode at any cost. I think it is a good show and I recommend it to anyone looking for good TV shows. It's better I do not reveal anymore as it is really gripping to find out episode after episode. Enjoy Heroes.
