Online multiplayer tips for Call of Duty (Xbox 360, PS3)

In my opinion, there is no greater feeling than getting the game-winning head shot in a closely matched game of Call of Duty 4 on line. Call of Duty 4 has great ratings, from gamers and professional rating staffs alike. I love the game and recommend it to anyone who has a console that is compatible for the game. The game experience is heightened when played on line. There are many strategies and techniques used in the on line play. I am going to focus on telling you how to choose your weapons.

The first thing you must do is choose a weapon. That all depends on your style. If you are the kind of guy that sits back, picking the unsuspecting enemy off, then you should probably use a sniper rifle. If you like to use a lot of ammo, a LMG is perfect for you. Just find your style, and choose the logical weapon that matches that style. I will help you with this decision. I will talk about the weapons in each class, and which weapon I would use from that class.

First, I will talk about the assault rifles. You have many options in this class of weapons. You could go with something semi-automatic, which means it shoots one bullet each time you pull the trigger. The M14 and G3 are the semi-automatic assault rifles. They do more damage than other assault rifles. They are also more accurate, but the downside to this, is they don't shoot as fast. Next you have the M16, which shoots a three round burst. This means that three shots are fired each time you pull the trigger. The M16 has good accuracy, not as good as the semi-automatics. Then you have the automatics, which continue to shoot as long as you hold down the trigger. The G36C, M4, MP44, and the AK-47. They are not as accurate and have less damage, but they shoot fast. I would use the M16, because it is in the middle as far as stats are concerned. It is the perfect mix of accuracy, damage, and shooting speed. Assault rifles have a good range, as well as a good shooting speed. That is why I use them.

Next, there are the SM-G's and LM-G's. Out of all SM-G's, I would use the P90. It is amazing. But, most of the SM-G's are about the same, so there isn't much to say about them. The same goes for the LM-G's. They are all about the same, but I would use the M429 SAW.

Then we have the shotguns. There is a pump and an semi-auto shotgun. I would use the semi-automatic for obvious reasons.

Now, we have the sniper rifles. In the class, there are the bolt action rifles and the semi-automatic rifles. Bolt action rifles are more accurate, but they have a slower rate of fire. Semi-automatics shoot faster, but are less accurate. I would choose either the M107 or the Barrett 50. cal.

As you can tell, I mainly use assault rifles. Just put a red dot sight or a silencer on one and you will be unstoppable. That is what I do and I am very successful. Assault rifles have good range, accuracy, and rate of fire. That is why I use them. I hope you will find my guide helpful, even though I did not talk about some of the weapons as much.
