Owning a pet seemed so much easier when we were growing up. We just assumed we knew how to care for them. Feed-Play-Sleep-Repeat. Occasionally we would bathe the loving companion and maybe once monthly remove them out of their usual environment for the required walk around the block. We were responsible Pet Owners, under the eyes of the pre-internet days.
As each decade passes, our pets gave more reasons for us to love them, feed them, and play with them. With the help of the home computer, our pets and family members showed more interest in spending more money on fashionable clothing, specialty foods, comfortable beds and don't forget the yearly dental appointments.
The Internet has such a vast amount of information available to Pet Owners that someone had to sit down and organize websites into easily readable text. Map out user-friendly directional links and add some personal writing to create an online guide to the best fourteen or more websites that all Pet Owners must read.
Listed below the websites are shown in categories of interest and importance to the health and welfare of our pets in the 21st century. Any additional websites are for your entertainment.
In these economic depressive times, becoming a new Pet Owner will require some additional reading to be sure the choice made is budget friendly and government friendly.
