Jesus...

In regards to the question at hand, I wonder greatly. For we live in a world were man is impelled to question everything beyond his understanding. But have we truly looked for the answer; have we been looking in the right place? And to whom are we inquiring? It would seem that the proverb has thus proved itself true: "For all is vanity and striving after the wind." At what point will our simple-mindedness come to an end? Ironic as it may be, the truth and simplicity of Christ is not found among the naive (or simple-minded). What must we see with our eyes in order for us to believe? For they say that seeing is believing. And so I say, "The whole world is blind."

It would seem that what we feel we can see with our eyes has been somewhat deceiving. And the reason I say this, is because Jesus Christ is not what many perceive Him as. Many feel that Jesus was once a man in the flesh that began a ministry of salvation, suffered persecution, crucified, and then resurrected. End of story. Indeed, but what did we miss? Or did we somewhere down the line forget that Jesus is God manifested in the flesh? Or have we forgotten what it was that was given us after His ascension?

"And it shall be in the last days, God says, that I will pour forth of My Spirit on all mankind; And your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams; Even on My bond slaves, both men and women, I will in those days pour forth of My Spirit, and they shall prophesy." (Acts 2:17,18)

Therefore having been exalted to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He has poured forth this which you both see and hear (Acts 2:33). And what is "This which you both see and hear"? The Living Word of God...

Do you recall when the Lord had said, "I am the Way and the Life, no one can go to the Father except through Me."? Who do you suppose He was talking about? The man in the flesh, or His living Word and Spirit? Or do you not know that it is His Word, that is, the Holy Bible, that mediates a reconciliation between man and God. For the Holy Spirit guiding a man through His prophetic Word, is Christ Himself...

And so when I hear a question such as: "Is Jesus the only way of salvation?" I truly wonder. Is the world really so blind? If one were to open their eyes to the Word of Truth, and seek the Lord with all their heart and soul, maybe such a one will find compassion- a discernment and understanding that is far beyond the world's comprehension. For this is the will of the Lord, that is, to acknowledge His Word, return, and be healed. Just as the He Himself has said, "If you continue in My word, you are truly disciples of Mine."

For Jesus Christ is the only Way for one to inherit salvation. He is the Way and the Life. For the Life was the Light of men. The Light shines in the darkness, but the darkness could not comprehend it.
