If you are a pet owner who enjoys shopping online or just surfing the Internet for information about your non-human friends, you are in luck. Websites abound for the animal lover, and new ones are being added every day. There is almost nothing you can't find online these days with a simple search, so there are many more useful and entertaining sites than can be listed here; however, I have compiled a list (in no particular order of importance) of some of the best.
Best Animal Welfare sites:
Every pet owner who cares about the welfare of animals, should bookmark the website for The American Humane Society, and visit it often. (http://www.americanhumane.org This venerable institution has been, as their motto proudly proclaims, "Protecting Children & Animals Since 1877", and is the organization whose seal of approval has been sought by moviemakers since 1940. You can even get insurance for your beloved pet, or find help to pay vet bills through this site.
The Humane Society of the United States (http://www.hsus.org/ is another animal welfare organization with absolutely top-notch credentials and information you can trust. With all the
