There is no doubt that Disney World is one of the most magical places on earth. Many travelers believe that staying at Disney is very expensive, but there are a few budget minded resorts offered by Disney for those wanting to capture the entire Disney experience without depleting their savings. The Disney resort system is categorized into three different categories. They are value, moderate and deluxe.
The value category includes the All Star Music, All Star Movies, All Star Sports and Pop Century. These resorts start at $82 a night. The rooms feature two double beds or one king bed. There is enough room for a family of four although the rooms can be a bit small for the average family. The food options include a resort themed food court and pizza delivery. Each resort also includes a themed pool and an arcade for the young ones to enjoy. While the price of these resorts is slightly higher compared to basic hotels around the area, they may be worth it if you want to get the entire Disney experience.
The moderate category resorts include the Caribbean Beach, Coronado Springs and Port Orleans French Quarter and Riverside resorts. These resorts offer a wonderful combination of value and amenities. There are large themed pool with waterslides, food courts, full service restaurants and recreational activities such as bike rentals and boating. These rooms start at $145 a night.
The deluxe category resorts include the Animal Kingdom Lodge, Beach Club, Boardwalk Inn, Contemporary, Grand Floridian, Yacht Club and the Polynesian. These resorts offer world-class service, dining, and amenities. The pools are elaborately themed with slides; there are water sports, spas, character dining and much more. The price for these rooms start at $215 a night.
Guests staying on property regardless of the resort can enjoy a multiple of benefits that can add up to huge savings. These include park ticket packages, dining packages, extra magic hours at the parks, use of the on site bus system that covers the entire Disney complex (no need to rent a car), the ability to use the room keys as charge cards in all restaurants and shops and Disney Magical Express (airport transfer to and from the resort).
By staying on property, guests have the ability to bundle up their options to create huge savings. Disney has created something called Magic Your Way. The Magic Your Way option lets you add park tickets for the duration of your stay. The more you stay the more you save. Park tickets can go
