MULTI-PLAYER TIPS FOR BEGINNERS FOR CALL OF DUTY 4: MODERN WARFARE
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare probably has to be one of the most addicting video games I have ever played, especially when it comes to the multi-player mode. I am here to tell you a couple of tips that can be use if you are new to the CoD 4(Call of Duty 4) scene.
Tip 1. Watch Your Back! Always watch your back; you never know when an opponent will sneak up on you. If you have headphones or you are in a quiet room. Remember to listen for footsteps, listening comes in handy if your opponent does not have the Dead Silence perk which silents your footsteps.
Tip 2. Always remember to reload. You never wanna take on an opponent with half a clip, especially if you are not a good shot. One thing that always helped me in this type of situation was after your clip is empty on your primary weapon quickly switch to your side-arm or your secondary depending on the perk you have chosen before the beginning of the game. That brings me to the next tip.
Tip 3. Perks. Perks are what make this game unique from the past multi-player games I have played. Match your perks to what type of weapon you are equipped with. Mix and match with the perks you have, but some perks don't always go well together such as the Iron Lungs perk and the ak47.
Tip 4. If you wanna master the maps in Call of Duty, make sure you take the time to study the maps that way you know were a good choke point is to gun down a couple of guys such as a tight alley way or the perfect sniping position like a spot in a 3 story building.
Tip 5. Teamwork. Teamwork is key to modes like sabotage, search and destroy, and Domination. Constant chatter on the mic always helps to locate the enemy.
Tip 6. Sniping. Sniping is my personal favorite. I would prefer the m40a3 for the beginners. The recoil on the m40a3 is not bad like the Barrett 50.cal sniper rifle, but packs a good punch just like it. It's a bolt-action rifle so the reload time is terrible. So i recommend this rifle for camp sniping. As for tips on how to snipe: take your time wait for that perfect moment to pull the trigger and pull. This where the perk Iron Lungs comes in handy.
That is all the tips I have for you for now, but I will most likely post some more useful info on CoD4 later. Hope this little list of tips comes in handy for all you beginners. You can find me on xbox live running and gunning so hit me up for a little session. Gamertag: landoCOMMANDO87. later everyone. KEEP GAMING PEOPLE!
