gestures too; they go along with the songs and really help to get that good old fashioned holiday cheer going! Christmas carols really have a way of making people smile, especially when they're the ones singing them!
DANCE! When you're cleaning, on the phone or just hanging out with your family and friends, even if you're all alone you can dance and sing; feeling silly is all part of having good cheer. If a person can laugh at themselves, they can handle anything!
Try scenting your house with all the goodness of the season. Cinnamon and vanilla always seem to have a calming sense, it gets you ready for a day when family and friends gather around and really setting the mood for holiday cheer deep down in your heart.
Why not try looking at old family photos and anything that reminds you of happy times? Get some hot cocoa, fuzzy socks and happy music; you're good to go; and so on your way to Cheerville!
Set up a colorful Christmas tree before Christmas! Why wait? Give yourself some red, blue and gold holiday cheer in advance. There's just something about the way silver tinsel glitters across my tree that makes my heart sing.
Play peeping Tom- oh yea you naughty thing! When no one is looking; try peeking at a present or two! The total naughtiness of it should make you giggle all the way til next Christmas!
If all else fails; be glad you're not a turkey!
