Recipes: Chicken with mushroom sauce

Chicken with mushroom sauce is a delicious entree and a crowd pleaser and it's easy and quick to make.

Ingredients:

6 boneless chicken breasts, 2 cups of mushroom sauce (see recipe below)

MUSHROOM SAUCE

1 cup of mushrooms (chopped) 2 cups of mushroom gravy (see recipe below)

MUSHROOM GRAVY

1 - 8 ounce can of diced mushrooms (save the juice), 3 tablespoons of butter, 3 tablespoons of flour, 1/4 cup of milk, 1/2 cup of the mushroom juice (saved from the can of mushrooms, 2 tablespoons Worcester sauce

Combine in a pan and cook until the butter is melted and the lumps are gone. As with all gravies, constant stirring is required.

PREPARATION

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Place chicken in a 9" by 13" baking dish and pour the mushroom gravy, place the chicken breasts in baking dish and pour the rest of the mushroom sauce on top; bake for 45 minutes. Serve with potatoes, vegetable and warm rolls. Serves 6
