I'm lost, staring at the cold ground,
the seconds ticking away,
moments are traces of sound.
Each step I take weighs me down,
crawling in my skin,
my fingers close into a fist,
this battle I can't lose.
The cage loosens a bit more,
I can't hold out much longer,
not a hope to cling on.
Its laughter leaves me sore.
Looking into my eyes, you laugh,
but it's been too long, and it hungers for more,
you're not the only one laughing,
my beast laughs, too.
If only you knew.
I regret this moment, as I regret all else.
beneath our skin lie the same scars,
I unlatch the beast's door,
too long it has been caged.
Too long our battle has been waged.
But not anymore.
Not anymore.

Poetry: Rage
Anger outbursts as a thirst for something else.
Something that it's once forgotten & it once knew.
Rebelling against
It starts as a slow rumble
Builds till my breath is short
I feel my world start to tumble
I know it has come too far to abort
I
by Jack Ivey
Rage aborts the future
In violent belief
A cataclysmic photograph
Albeit often brief
Bursting veins of razors
Slashing
by Chad Mcdade
Red fog clouds my mind
Blood courses madly from a raging heart
Body trembles and eyes but blind
Grand desires of brutality
Before a whisper-
Now runs like water
Out of locked openings
Pours out silence
Tender substance
Scatters like sunshine
