Does your child's school currently use a Body Safety Curriculum? By body safety, I mean grade-specific education that teaches children language and skills to protect them from bullying, from child abuse of all types (including sexual abuse or harassment from other children - yes, that does happen in schools and on playgrounds!), internet safety education, stranger-danger rules. Think about it - are you a teacher yourself, or active in your preK or elementary school parent group? Are you interested in learning how your school can adopt a research-based, proven-effective body safety education curriculum, that provides professional training for the teachers or school counselor, lesson plans and lesson materials to use in the classrooms, and parent resources?
Good-Touch/Bad-Touch Body Safety Education is more than "just another little grade-school safety assembly". It's got research to back it up, it's got classroom materials to use with children, it's got educator training to ensure best quality teaching techniques, and it's got materials to help educate parents - so they can continue these important safety discussions at home!
Protecting children from people who intend to harm them, and giving children the language and skills they need in order to talk with adults who care about them - that's what Good-Touch/Bad-Touch is all about. Making sure that our children can stay safe, to continue learning and having fun in school - that's what Good-Touch/Bad-Touch is all about.
As a Trainer for Good-Touch/Bad-Touch and a mom, I'm convinced that this is the most complete, well-rounded body safety education curriculum to use in preK and grade school - but check it out for yourself.
