Ten diet-friendly freezer treats

Filling your freezer with delicious and diet-friendly frozen treats is easy. Feeling stressed out and busy schedules often leads to unhealthy diet sabotaging. With a little planning and creativity you will avoid blowing your diet and have 10 frozen diet-friendly treats at your finger tips whenever you have the urge to snack.

10 DIET FRIENDLY FREEZER TREATS:

FROZEN GRAPES

Freeze grapes in single serving ziplock baggies. Mix it up and combined black seedless and red seedless grapes together. The fruit blend is sweet and flavorful.

FROZEN FRUIT

Freeze your favorite fruits(raspberries, strawberries, blueberries, cantaloupe, honeydew, and kiwi) in single serving freezer bags. Take out of the freezer and let thaw on the counter or place baggie in a little warm water to speed thaw time up. Place fruit in a bowl and top with your favorite fat-free topping.

FROZEN LIGHT YOGURT CUPS

Purchase your favorite low calorie/low sugar single serving yogurts. Pop them in the freezer and take out when you feel like a light and yummy sweet dessert. The whipped variety is easiest to eat. It feels and looks like a sorbet.

FROZEN SMORES

Ingredients: 1 package sugar free chocolate JELL-O pudding, 1 1/2 cup 1% milk(or soy milk), 1 cup fat-free Cool Whip, 1/2 cup mini marshmallows, 7 whole graham crackers(break in half).

Directions: Mix pudding and milk in a bowl with whisker. Stir in whipped topping and mini marshmallows. Spoon some mixture into the middle of two grahams and wrap up individually in aluminum foil. Let set for at least 2 hours. Smores will stay good for quite awhile. Take out and enjoy!

WEIGHT WATCHERS SMART ONES FROZEN ECLAIR

Inexpensive and tastes like a regular eclair. Comes in a box of three and costs around $2.00. Takes only a couple of seconds in the microwave to thaw, you'll be enjoying rich chocolate outer sauce, and a creamy filling in no time at all. This snack is Low fat(4 grams), Low calorie(140 per eclair), and low in sugar(10 grams).

MINI CANDY BARS

There are time when you just need a candy bar. Freeze your favorite mini candy bars(vanilla charleston chews, milky way, 3 musketeers). Limit yourself to one every now and again. They taste scrumptious frozen.

Plan ahead and get creative when it comes to diet snacking convenience. Fill your freezer full of healthy and quick snacks. Moderation is key to your diet success.
