Dear God How I Miss my Darling Baby Boy
I was holding you one minute, feeling your breath on my face,
watching you smile and grow; how my heart would race.
Your eyes were bright, your laughter a joy,
Dear God how I miss my darling baby boy.
The next time I held you I felt your breath no more,
My heart stopped racing and left me sore.
Your eyes had no shine, your smile removed,
Pink, turned gray, was the skin I once soothed.
The energy and spirit that once made you, you, had vanished....
Time had stood still a face so precious and new.
Sometimes I awake and how my arms still ache,
To quiet your cries, and wipe the tears from your eyes.
To hold you close and never let you go,
To dream of the future and watch you grow.
But, something happened which can't be explained,
My arms are empty, my heart in pain.
All's I have left is just your small toy,
Dear God how I miss my darling baby boy...

From your vantage point in heaven
do you see the tears we cry

Death of a son
The show of the coffin
The grave taking over love
The blanket of darkness
As we see through our blind eyes
Prophets
The Accident
Laying on the trolley with family milling round
The footsteps of the nurses through my head they pound
I know
I once had two anchors unique
that held me to this world.
Bound by cords of love and pain
and ties of eternal strength,
Near The End of my End
Near the end of my end, washed up, I find
Your face, that face again,
Crumpled like a used tissue left
