theme of decorations. Allowing the students to participate in decorating the room gives them a feeling of contribution and pride in what they are learning. Students love to see their work displayed in places where others can see it. This will allow for a new look in the room on a fairly regular basis, and a change in the environment in which they will be studying on daily. Allowing them to draft ideas for decorating the room gives them a feeling of ownership in what goes on in the classroom.

This idea of "creative teaching tools" could be written in book form, but in this case an article will have to do. As I began writing this I discovered many great ideas, and then the imagination took over. The list could go on and on. This is what I hope we can create in the students as we also begin to come up with far more than we dreamed possible to create and motivate learning in the classroom.
