The theory of real vampires huh? For me its not a theory, it's life. I did not ask to be what I am, though I am happy with it. Once I found out what I was, I was able to learn to control it, and use it in different ways. Before my awakening, I would steal energy from everyone. I did not even know I was doing it. I now know better and less invasive ways to feed, that truly harm no one and I can go a long time between feedings.

Now, not for the sake of starting an argument... but most things I have read seem to portray all psychic vampires as evil. Evil is an intent, not a person, place, or thing. The only time any vampire can be described as evil is if they have the intent to be malicious. Also, whether anyone wants to admit or not, everyone is a psychic vampire of some sort.

To classify a psychic vampire you have to know more about them. There are actually three different types and many different ways of feeding. The only evil that could come of them is if someone is intending to do it maliciously and without permission.

There is a guide book, The Psychic Vampire Codex by Michelle Belanger, a well known psychic vampire within the vampire community. Anyone who wants to properly educate themselves about psychic vampires should read this book. It may very well surprise you.

She describes these different types of psychic vampire very intricately and how they work with each other in unison, as well as a template for energy working. There are different feeding and energy usage levels for each. And as you know, there are some people who seem to have too much energy, some that are pretty even, and some that seem to drag themselves through a day. Energy working can be for anyone.

The first type of psychic vampire is The Priest. They are very sensitive to different forms of energy. They don't have much of a connection to the physical plane which would include his or her body. They are very skilled at energy manipulation and must feed directly from the life force.

Though if his or her level of energy is low or out of balance their physical health will suffer and often in considerable ways, which include nervous disorders, lower immune responses, digestive and heart problems, as well as depression.
