Hands, crawling down my knees
thoughts heard well beyond my mind
laughter muffled deep inside the brain
empty words with private gestures
tears fall gently down my face
as sadness wells deep inside my soul
thoughts keep rushing past my mind
thoughts that cannot be bound by human hands
words that fly from empty ladles
words without a deeper meaning.
