I swam to the shore and rose from waters deep,
I play the game of love on my island home,
mesmerised by my beauty, no man can sleep,
I bathe, my body soothed by mineral foam.
The island bows down to my beauty,
Love is my sport and I play the game,
my lovers and gods surround me,
I live on an island of love, Aphrodite my name.
