I wish i had a tormented childhood,
an alcoholic father,
an abusive uncle.
Then i could put anguish into words.
I wish i travelled more as a child,
to different countries
and places.
Then i could put my wonder into words.
I wish i lived in a warzone,
filled with the dying
the suffering
and the cruel
Then i could put my outrage into words.
But no
I live in a quiet suburb
I have never left the country
I have two loving parents
I wish i was happy
one out of four isn't bad.

I told you stories
Of Giants,
Falling into a dream
I'm sitting here almost in sleep,
and through me I feel something so deep.
I'm in despair,
for desperately
