Poem: "Know Thy Self"
To know thy self
Is constant discovery.
Inserting a 'bookmark' into your life;
An understanding of one's process of living.
This is to be understood.
Understood through mere listening;
Teaching of great Maters as well,
Learning life on a daily basis.
Not a ritual, no books,
But need formed through actualization.
Listening brings actualization through 'self',
As well from personal experience.
The spirit controls,
So let the spirit out,
And the spirit will take form.
With rise of spirit becomes reason,
And spirit begets growth.
Though all thoughts are partial,
It can never be total;
But only a foundation of totality.
Though we may be capable of much more,
We live on that small percentage;
Knowing is not enough
We must live it to apply.
Only actions give life unto thy self.
And with every spirit that is weak,
Only reactions result from form.
It is belief that bourns spirituality,
And this formation can rise;
Rise unsurpassed into dreams.
So rise with each imagined pinnacle;
Only then may your capabilities surface.
Or knowledge will repudiate thee,
And ignorance so many possess,
Shall be a life of solitary emptiness.
