Band reviews: The Beatles

I am to young to remember "The Beatles". I was not even born until 1966. But for as long as I can remember I have been a fan of "The Fab Four."

I am the youngest of five children and my two older brothers and sisters are not Beatle fans, and they are all old enough to remember them. All four of them watched them on Ed Sullivan in 1964.

But then, every generation discovers "The Beatles."I first became introduced to them on the radio when I was very young. When I was a teenager I began collecting their albums on vinyl and 45's.

I now have all of their albums on CD. I know that no rock and roll group pf the future will ever be able to top "The Mop Top's"!

The only artist to had more number one hit songs then "The Beatles" is Elvis Presley.

I do like Elvis but am not a huge fan of his. He was a talented singer, but is not even in the same league with "The Beatles".

It is the same with "The Rolling Stones." I know that a lot that people, call "The Stones" the greatest rock and roll band of all time.

But in my opinion, all four of "The Beatles" were not only better musicians than any member of "The Stones" past or present. But in my opinion "The Beatles" were far more talented then "The Stones."

Okay, I admit that I do like "The Stones." But they don't even compare to "The Beatles."

Mick Jagger and Keith Richards wrote a handful of great songs, but none of those songs are any better then any number of songs that "The Beatles" wrote and recorded.

I have to give the late Brian Jones applause and credit for being the most talented member of the group. He was able to play a far more number of instruments, than any of the other's in the band.

I think that Jagger and Richards were a bit to cruel in the way they kicked Brian out of the group. Sure I know he had a severe drug and alcohol problem.

But if they wanted Brian out, they should have been a bit nicer about it. I have always wished that "The Beatles" could some how stayed together.

I also have always wished that it was "The Stones" who broke up in 1970 rather than "The Beatles."

Even though "The Beatles" failed to stay together as a group, they will forever out live "The Rolling Stones" in popularity and most likely record sales.

Even though John and George are gone. I have seen two Paul Mc Cartney concerts. And they were both aw-some concerts.

I have never seen "The Rolling Stones" perform. But for me even though they broke up, and with only Paul and Ringo still alive, "The Beatles" will live forever.
