I, don't want to by any means put single mother's down, because I have nothing but great respect and admiration for any single mother out their trying to raise their chilren alone. As a single mom myself many years ago, I know what it is like to be single raising two children, and have a absent father. Any single mother knows what i, am talking about. I believe that single mother's never get any recognition for their strentgh, courage beliefs, and determination, and strugles in life. I know that for everyday with getting up in the mornings, first thing first, feeding your children getting them ready for school, or daycare, rushing out the door, on your way to school, taking a course, or getting ready for you first job, than somewhere in between picking up your children, getting them settled to where they might be going next because you have maybe two jobs, so your night job, requires a different babysitter so you can try and make a good living for your children, so that they can have the things in life that they deserve, and you have to do all this on your own because there is no father in their life that is wanting to pay child support, like so many other dead beat dads.
if your asking me if a single mother should date or see other men, I would agree that yes she should be, after all with her busy schedule, taking car of the children going to work, and doing everything alone. Why shoul she not take care of herself and let someone be their to hold her, when she feels sad, listen to her when she needs to talk, or vent. Letting her know that she is something special and remarkable, and that she is alot to be admired, an someone that other single mother's out there, that maybe were not as strong as she was, and could only wish that they could do what she was doing, but how?,
Just because you are a single parent, it doesn't me that you should not live a healthy life for yourself. I feel that it is very important that single mother's keep good company with good friends, and if you meet someone that makes you happy, than why would you worry about society. My way when my children were young, was that if I dated someone, I never brought him home. I was very head strong about bringing in different men into my home, even if they were just friends, it did matter to me. Even though my children's father was not in my girls life, I would have never not once put their father down, because he was their father no matter what. I didn't ever want my children to be confused about
