God is our Heavenly Creator and he/she gave us free will, which means we are responsible for the good and the bad. We decide to do harm or not, we decide to be mean spirited or not.
If God were responsible for the good and the bad then we would have control over our surroundings and could blame everything on him/her. As it stands we have to take responsibility for the wrong dongs we commit alone, we are not responsible for anyone else but our own actions. We need to think more in terms of weather or not we want to play the blame game and weather or not it adds to or takes away from who we are.
I take full responsibility for my own actions and I am responsible for admitting when I am wrong and also for when I am right. I personally don't feel that God is in a position to be God if he were the scape goat for all that is bad as well as all that is good.
You know in the old Testament when an Earth Quake would occur or a Lightening storm would happen or any other of Mother Natures wonders, they would blame it on God, either he was happy and caused a wonderful rain storm that allowed crops to grow and food a plenty or he was angry and vengeful and was taking it out on us by causing a Drought that would cause a famine and punish everyone for let's say one man's mistake. Lots of finger pointing went on in the old Testament.
The God I know who has given me an opportunity to use my life for good rather than bad is the same God who gave us free will. The idea or fact in my case that I use my life for only good and Do no Harm is my choice and it is because I have a close and loving relationship with God that I feel so intent on being a good and kind person, sometimes to a fault because I can get taken advantage of, but this is not God's fault, this is my own free will at work.
I try really hard in my everyday life to treat everyone with respect and hope that if I am kind then even the meanest and angriest person may turn around and smile at me. This is by my choice and my choice alone. I could have gone anther way and taken advantage of people, become a thief, or a criminal, but regardless of what I have in my cabinets to eat and even if they are bare and I have no food, no money for Gas for my car, no way to pay everyone of my bills and live the life most want to live I am a Loving and caring person who trusts that things will work out the way they should because of my free will, not because I am afraid that God is responsible for the good and the bad in the world, but because I truly believe God trusts me know that he is not responsible for the bad and the good.
