How do you prepare a child for life? We teach and our children learn. The only way to prepare for Christs return is to study the bible. This is what God has gave to mankind . The main problem is many people read the Bible and have different Ideas or doctrines of what the Bible means. There are so many translations of the Bible that the actual translation from the Hebrew and Greek get lost . The Bible was not written as a easy Book to understand.God wrote the Bible in such a way that you must search through the whole Bible and compare scripture with and against scripture. You must also look at the Hebrew and Greek and compare all the words alike and understand the different rendered meanings. One example is you will not find the word "rapture" anywhere in the whole Bible. There are words that say "caught up" but this is not translated to the word rapture.
There are literalistic, fundamentalists, spiritualists and many others that understand that the Bible was not written for the whole world but to those that God came to save.Because of this many trained and learned men have failed at time and judgement. In Matthew 24 the Bible doesn't say than the Bible will be preached in all the world and then the end comes. Matthew 24:14 actually says:"And this Gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations;and then shall the end come". What most people that study the end times miss is the word "witness". The word of God is the witness.Christ is the witness.Matthew 24:14 is not saying everyone will read, see or be subjected to the truth. By the time of John of Revelation in 95 AD there were already churches in most of the known world. The churches are addressed in the first 3 chapters of Revelation. So Matthew 24:14 is only one part of the whole truth about Christs return.
There are many proofs in the Bible about how the end will appear.Christ actually only gave us three real time or earthly events to look for as His return draws near.In Matthew God gives us many conditions about the world at the end of time but He tells us to know about the fig tree and Noah as two exact clues that will or have happened on Earth . Matthew 24:32-33 is as follows:Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:So likewise ye,when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the door. This parable can not be understood unless you study all verses in all 66 books of the Bible
