How can we change our destiny? We all wonder about the answer to this question. Many people believe that we can't really change our destiny. What has to happen; will happen. We can't do anything about it. So should we just reconcile with our fate and accept that we have no control over our destiny and our lives? Isn't there anything that we can do to change our destiny?
I don't think so. I believe that God has written a destiny for each one of us. But God has also blessed us with free will, the ability to choose our destiny and the power of intuition to change our destiny or take us where we want to go. God never intended us to have an unhappy, miserable and unsatisfied life. It's we humans who refuse to hear God's Voice which is constantly guiding us in the right direction and towards the destiny that we want for our own selves.
Now the question is how can we really change our destiny? Is it by changing our career paths? Is it by changing the house we live in? Is it by letting go of a relationship we are in? I guess it depends on the person. For someone it could be getting out of a relationship which has long since stopped working. For another it could be letting go of that job which probably offers great money but no spiritual and emotional satisfaction.
The key here is that we can't allow new things to come into our lives if we don't let go of the old things which are not working for us. When we shift to a new house, we find that there are many things in our old house that we no longer need. Or they just don't work anymore. Dumping these useless things is the first step that we take when shifting houses. We enter our new house with things that work for us and things that we need. This also allows us to have enough empty space in our house. Here is where new things can be kept.
We need to do the same thing for changing our destiny. We need to look at all the things that we no longer need. We need to look at things in our lives that don't work for us anymore. There may be things which are constantly preventing us from doing what we want. If we want to change our destiny, we will have to throw these old and useless things from our life. Once we throw away these old things, we can replace them with new things and our new destiny.
Now how do we know what these things are? Here is where God's Voice helps us. God has an interesting way of talking to us and telling us that it's indeed time to change our destiny. God first whispers to us through our intuition. We might not understand it. God then uses a friend's word or even an enemy's words to let us know. Yes, sometimes our enemies give us the most powerful message. If we still don't listen, it will be in the form of a small setback. If we still ignore it, it will be in the form of a major accident, disease or setback in life. This will be the final hit from God. From there on we will be forced to change the direction of our life.
We need to listen to our intuitions. Because this is how God speaks to us. This is the first medium which God uses to let us know that it's time to change our direction in life. If we learn to listen to our intuitions, we can save ourselves from much pain and grief. Every setback and accident in our life is God's way of letting us know that it's time to turn our lives around and change our destiny.
Yes, we can indeed change our destiny. But we need to sometimes shut the outer world and listen to the inner world to get that hint.
