She tucked the child in bed,
"Sweet dreams puppy", gave him a kiss,
Tip toed out, leaving the light on...
"Good night daddy", she said,
Put on his cheek a tender kiss,
"Sleep tight my love", before she'd gone...
Thus were the children raised,
From their parents, always a kiss,
Keeping them safe until each dawn...
As of today, we are amazed,
That love can spread in a simple kiss,
Making us feel just less alone...
So don't be shy and give a kiss,
To your loved ones under the moon...
With a warm smile, blow them a kiss,
To say "Goodbye and see you soon."
